'The Edibles Quest' Complete! Storytelling with pictures!

You and I leave the tavern in haste, fearing every moment we are under this enchantment we will continue to turn into fungi.
"We have around twenty four hours before this spell becomes permanent."
We ride our horses to the South, towards Mellow Woodlands.

Upon our arrival we enter this peaceful place, finding ourselves already feeling much calmer than before, the sun pouring through the branches feels warm, sounds of bird chirping catches our ear.
"Adventurer, you're starting to grow pores all over your face..." *I feel over my own and notice the same bumps on the apples of my cheeks as well*
Traveling along the trails we avoid sleeping hounds and nearly trip over jackalopes.
*I point to a bridge* "Past here is where Lumi lives, follow me quickly adventurer."
We turn the corner of the trail, it opens up to a small meadow with but one large oak tree in the middle, hollowed out and turned into a home.
"This is where Lumi lives, quickly lets go." *I bang on the door and shout her name a few times until we hear foot steps come and answer*
"Ah, Silvana - oh and a friend I see...Say the one I gave the book to! My you weren't supposed to eat the cookie as well--"
I cut her off. "Lumi this joke has gone too far, hurry and give us the spell to turn us back to our former selves."
*She waves her hand before speaking* "You can never take a joke, Silvana! If it wasn't for your friend here I'd let you turn into a mushroom, but that wouldn't be fair to them now, would it?"
*She enters back inside for a moment before reappearing at her wooden door with a small satin bag* "Place the book out in front"
*I hold the book out for her, she takes a small glittering mushroom out and places it on top of the book* "Go to the side of my home and relax, while you are sitting there this little mushroom will start to absorb the fungi out of both of you. You will fall into a lucid dreaming state but when you awaken you will have returned to normal, now off with you two! Though...I'm sure this wont be the last I see either of you, hehe!" She giggles maniacally and slams the door on us.
We walk to the side of the house, sitting in the lush grass, I place the book in front of us, soon the mushroom releases something from the top - clouds that glitter against the sun form around us and start to absorb the fungi spell.
*I look over to you* "Hey! You're head is returning to normal!"
We continue this peaceful rest until we return back to our old selves...
