On the Table This is one of the most beautiful tables I've ever seen. A little bit tattered here, but with some love it could be restored to it's former glory. This was in front of my retirement house. I loved this wooden hut that was used as a chalet in a nature reserve. Nobody ever rented this chalet, so we often used it for photoshoots. The sad thing is that the chalet got sold or rented to people that moved in here permanently, and they trashed the place. So sad! The last time I saw this table the legs were broken of and it was lying underneath the chalet!

🌊 Beach Weekend 🌊 Happy Tuesday I hope you had an awesome super long weekend. For those of you that got out and went to the beach, I’m very jealous of you! Going to the beach is the good life. The sound of the waves drones out all the other noises that stress you on a daily basis. On the beach you relax, destress and just enjoy life! I love the sea, sun and fresh air. I just wish I could get to the beach a bit more. I'm back to posting every day. It was just this weekend that I took a few days off. I do hope you understand.

🚂 Railway Bridge 🚂 Old things are better than new things, because they’ve got stories in them. -Kami Garcia An old train bridge in Sabie. We used to cross this bridge on foot but they’ve removed the walkway! It is such a bummer! This bridge is so close to our camping ground we just walk here. The camping ground is just to the right of the photo. Some of my favourite items that I’ve collected is some of the huge bolts they’ve used to fastened the tracks to the railway sleepers. The Burned out Post Office The ruin of the post office at New England. I don't even know if there was a town called New England here. It is a ruin just to the north of Bakley East in SA. On Google Maps just the train station is still there. When you stand in front of the ruin you can actually still see the remnants of the train station.

Now here is an interesting photo. My areolae is very sensitive to temperature. Not my nipples, my areolae. When it is hot they are big, round and light of color. When it is cold, they are small, shrunken and dark of color. In this photos my left areolae is getting warm, but the right one is getting cold! 😂😂😂 First time I've ever noticed this. True story.

I love the lighting in this photo. It is a ruin about an hours drive from home. We have visited this ruin often and have spend numerous hours here. It is very close to a neighborhood so we are very jittery and on our toes when we are here. We need a guard to go with us to these places. 😂💂♂️

This was the third of fourth time that horses came to greet me on a shoot 🐴. It is so magical to have these magnificent creatures walk up to you. This was at the nature reserve just f1fteen minutes drive from our home. We were walking through the reserve that day instead of driving 🚶♂️.

Even this broken hut put a smile on my face every time we have a beer there. This broken hut made me very happy and I enjoyed posing there very much! 😃😃

Horseshoe Falls This is me during a beer break at the falls. My husband started playing with slow shutter speeds on the camera to get the "curtain" effect of the falling water. I had to sit very still for a few seconds as not to blur the photo. You have to excuse the bored look on my face. It was during my beer break dammit! 😅😂 I love the curtain effect Susan, but it is very difficult to get decent photos with slow shutter speeds!

🌲Lush Greenness🌲 Sabie is just so green in the summer time. Everything there is green. It is one of the greenest place I've ever seen. The second green place I have to say is Magoebaskloof. I love the green of the forests in Sabie. Strangely enough my favorite color is red! But I love the green of nature. To sit in the shade on a fine day and look upon verdure is the most perfect refreshment. -Jane Austen I didn't know what "verdure" means, but here it is: The lush greenness of flourishing vegetation.
