Nonnie the stunt woman! 😅😂 I do have a fear of heights, but I still loved standing on the ledge of this old building. Out hobby of taking photos has made me do things that I never would have done otherwise. And I love it! I love trying things that I knew I wouldn’t have done otherwise. I think we need to challenge ourselves in life.
In all our time of taking photos, I’ve only hurt myself twice. Once I got scratched deeply by a branch on my leg. The other time I fell through rotten floorboards. Just scratches luckily.

Anyone for a game. This is a old squash court that was part of a sports center that went to ruin. I love posing in ruins, but it does make me a bit sad that a place where everyone laughed and played in now just rubble.

There are days that I have to admit I miss my long hair. The photos here is probably the longest my hair ever was! I wanted my hair grow all the way down to my nipples. But then again, my hair grows very slow, and as my hair grew, my boobs sagged. I eventually realize it is never gonna happen! 🤣🤣
But then I think about the amount of work it takes to maintain long hair. It is a LOT of work! Shorter hair might not look as good, but man it is easier to live with!

🐕 International Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day 🐶
(is that a thing? 😂😂)
Made me think of a few times that dogs just followed us on some of our walks. This dog was there when we paid and as we started walking, the dog followed us! He even posed with me!
What was so embarrassing is that this male dog was so "excited" the whole time. 😅 I've never seen or read anything about dogs being attracted to human female breasts!

Somewhere in a German Forest
This was really taken in a German forest. We traveled by car from Berlin to Frankfurt via all the small back roads. It was an amazing road trip. The forest of Germany is the greenest I've ever seen. I loved it there.
I also loved the food in Germany, especially "Curry Wurst". Man I loved that! Now I want some! Damn, it is time for breakfast.

This is a forest to the north of Louis Trichardt called the Hanglip Forest Reserve. A friend told us and we were amazed by the beauty of this place. I was sitting there thinking a fairy or unicorn will come out of the forest at any time! It was amazing!!

My favorite little hut over a small dam. This is in the Nel's Hoogte nature reserve. We've spend many an afternoons here having a picnic, drinking a beer and sitting with our feet dangling over the water.
It has been destroyed now. 😢

This day we took the 250 000th photo of me. It is at a ruin next to the road close to Barberton. After the photoshoot we opened a bottle of sparking wine and celebrated the occasion.

My all time favorite place. Just south of Tzaneen in the Lekgalameetse Nature Reserve. The water is clear, cool and so nice to sit in. We discovered this place by accident, and from that day on it was paradise for us.
The eastern gate is easy to reach, but the western gate can only be reached by a 4x4. It is a long and slow drive up the mountain to enter from that side.

This was on “Breed’s Nek” pass, crossing the Magaliesberg mountains. The road is in a bad state and a challenge for even a bakkie (truck).
An old little car struggled by at a low speed while we were taking the photos. We waited for them and then continued. Later, driving up the pass we came across the car standing in the road. Broken down!
We stopped to ask if we could help. He was not broken down! The poor man drove the road every day so sometimes he would stop and do road repairs by himself!

We drove down a gravel road on our way home from a camping site one day. We soon realized we were trapped between two rivers, with no way to cross either one. We drove until we could make a U-turn and drove back the way we came. Backtracking is also one of our most frequent activities on a trip! 😜

I took the road less travelled...
and discovered some amazing things along the way.

This was in a very infrequently traveled forest road about 20km west of Barberton. I wish I knew how many times we've gotten lost just randomly taking roads. Often those roads are not even on the GPS. A lot of times we run out of road, and then it leads to a long drive in reverse because there is often no place or space to make a U-turn.

These photos was taken right next to a dirt road leading to the Seven Week's Poort, close to George. We were supposed to cross the mountains via the Swart Berg Pass. The pass was closed due to snow, so we had to drive all the way south to this poort. And I must say, I'm so happy it happend. The poort it one of the most amazing roads we've ever driven. My mouth was hanging open. What an amazing poort!

I really hope you will have an amazing week.
This was a very difficult place to reach. We had to so some serious 4x4'ing to get here. We even crossed a rocky river at one stage! But it is really worth the effort to be in this beautiful spot! The 4x4 route we traveled is supposed to be completed in 3 hours. We did it in 6 hours!
But then again we stop a lot, we take photos, make lunch, have a beer under a tree and just enjoy the beauty of nature.

🍁Autumn is on the way! 🍂
I love the colors of autumn. The rich colors of the leaves forming a carpet on the ground is just the prettiest to me.
It is nearly Autumn here, and for me the summer has been very cold. This morning again it is cool and cloudy. If the summer was this cool, the winter is going to be freezing!
