🌊 It is Saturday! 🌊 Go to the beach and play in the water! Have fun. Enjoy the sun! This was taken at the beach at Tugela Mouth. It is a very lonely beach that can lead to a lot of mischief! Good morning. Happy Friday! True story...I once had purple hair! 😜 I want to tell you about the car. That was our very first 4x4 that we had. It was small but we loved it. Here we are having rusks and coffee early in the morning. My husband and I build that box that we called "the kitchen". It had everything we needed to cook food or make coffee. We often stop next to a road and made food of coffee.

We had a photoshoot here at this building because we thought it was abandoned. We even looked through the doors there behind me. It looked like an abandoned restaurant. We took a lot of photos there. We walked around the building after we finished, and discovered that it was NOT abandoned. On the other side of the building there were offices, where people were working! This was taken in a nature reserve just north of Bela Bela. We used to go there quite a lot. We sometimes left early in the morning, spent one night and drove back the next day. I loved this dress, but everyone else hated it. My husband hated it, my daughters hated it, my brother hated it and even the dog🐕 hated it. 🌄 Last Photo of the Year 🌞 8 Dec 2020 This is a small nature reserve very close to us. We usually do a day trip here. On this day we took a drive out there, spend the day taking photos and just having a good time. This particular spot is also one of our favorite beer drinking spots.

🌄 Last Photo of the Year 🌞 17 Dec 2019 Taken in a big nature reserve close to Bela Bela. In this reserve we've seen elephants, rhinoceros and a lot of different types of bucks. We love it there, but man it is hot there this time of the year.

🌄 Last Photo of the Year 🌞 30 Dec 2018 The last few years we had a tradition to spend New Years Eve next to the Roodeplaat dam. This day everybody left to do their own things, and we had a few hours space to enjoy. So we took the chance and walked around and had an impromptu photoshoot. This one was next to an old shed in the camping area.

🌄 Last Photo of the Year 🌞 19 Dec 2016 This is our "fairytale" picnic spot. We discovered this spot by accident one day, and when we are in the area, we always have a picnic here. The little stream is named the "Broederstroom" stream. The stream is crystal clear. How I miss that place!

🌄 Last Photo of the Year 🌞 5 Dec 2015 So this year we stopped taking photos very early, on the 5th already! This was on our way home from camping in Bela Bela. We took a long way home that day, travelling as much gravel roads as we could. This is a small ruin next to the gravel road we were travelling on. This day my husband misjudged the fuel consumption of the vehicle, and we nearly ran out of fuel on our way home. The was a thick, worried atmosphere in the car on the way home! 😂

🌄 Last Photo of the Year 🌞 22 Dec 2014 It is one of the smallest waterfalls we visit regularly, but it my favorite waterfall. Only one we got here and it was in full flood! This photo was taken on our way home from a camping trip to the fabulously beautiful Magoebaskloof. Luckily it is hot here in December, so I took a shower under the very cold waterfall.

🌄 Last Photo of the Year 🌞 22 Dec 2013 We holidayed in Tugela Mouth north of Durban with the whole family. We really enjoyed our time there with the family. The kids were so as to let us have a day for ourselves. We drove around for the day and took some photos! This one was taken on a little bridge over a small river about 10km south west of where we were camping. The "Playboy" bunny necklace my husband gave me as a joke.

We stopped there to find out about their prices for camping. It was close to the end of the year, but luckily we only had another 110km to drive.
