These photos was taken a few days ago on a very cold day. Well, this whole trip has been very cold. I don't think winter time is the best time to take photos. From my crunched up areolas it is evident how cold it is, and I'm sitting in the sun!

After 3 days of relaxing in the Cedeberg mountains, it is back on the road again today. The mountains here are amazing, with deep red colors in the rocks. I will miss this part of our country. It is just bitterly cold here in the valley where we’re staying. 🥶 I love this jacket. It looks so formal and out of place in the bush, and I like the contrast between bush and format. This set was taken close to our home.

I love posing in front of waterfalls. There is something majestic to a waterfall. To see the spray and listen to the thundering of the falls is just amazing. I do hope you have an awesome day. 😘🥰

So, those of you that have been following me for a while will now know why I call my sites "Nonnies Adventures". Everyday for me is an adventure, and I love every second of it! We've never had a boring trip, and this trip we are now on is no exception! On the trip we are on at the moment, we've been robbed, got lost a few times, had a puncture in the middle of nowhere in the rain and mud! We slept in temperatures of -5 degrees C! So I am sorry for not posting regularly, but as soon as the trip is over it will be back to normal, with lots of new photos!

Good morning everyone. We are on our big tour!! Eventually, more than a month late!!! Slept outside a very, very cold Vryburg last night. They expected the temperature to go down to -9C last night! .This set was taken at a place that is famous for a lot of poisonous snakes, but although I am very scared of snakes, it has never stoped us from going in the most densely bushed places. We are very careful and keep a good lookout!

This is our stunning hiding place from the world. It is very difficult to reach this spot, as it is only accessible by 4x4. And even then it must be a 4x4 with low range and a high ground clearance. Here we can enjoy ourselves to the best of our abilities, and that we have...a lot! 😅😉

On the logs! I love sitting on wood! 🤣🤣 Get it? This set of photos was taken on a muddy and cloudy day. I love the smell of the pine trees that have been harvest here. If we find photoshoot areas like this, it is usually an once of deal. When you get there again they are gone. We d try and make the best of spots like this. “Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.” Marilyn Monroe I have to admit I don't completely agree about the "madness" part. I must be completely mad to post my photos on SM, but I'm definitely not a genius!

We spend a lot of time searching for ruins where I can pose for photos. This ruin is just outside a little town that we discovered a long while ago. The worst thing is that often when we go back to a ruin we visited earlier, it is gone. Last time this one was still there. I would love to visit it again. Enjoy the photo Ben. You drive up a mountain in a 4x4, and then close to the road on top of the mountain you will find this dilapidated overnight hut. It has 4 beds that is still there, although I will be hesitant to sleep on those bed! This hut has been neglected for many years, and great care must be taken here during photoshoots. A special set of photos before I got my implants. My husband and I have been taking photos for 18 years now. In this set I’m posting some of the first photos that we ever took. I was y0ung, didn’t know what the hell I was doing, didn’t know how to pose. My husband had crappy cameras, (he still has), didn’t know how to take photos, didn’t know about lighting, framing, rules of thirds and who knows what. It was a shit show, but it saved our marriage and started us on an adventure that lasted 18 years! The first photos was take in 2005 and the last in 2012.

I vehicle was giving trouble, it was a route that we travelled for the first time, and the going in our little 4x4 was very tough. It was mud, rocks, uphill and downhill going all the way. At the end of the day we were tired, irritated and just fucked, (no, not in that way, the bad fucked 😂). When we saw this spot, we just had to stop and spend some time here. It is difficult to smile when you are tired and irritated. I will post a set of this spot in the near future.

We often drive on roads that haven't been driven on in a very long time. This is one such road, but the green of the forest makes the stress of driving a road that can dead-end at any moment, worth it. I often have to get out of the truck to drag small trees and small rocks out of the road. The big ones I leave for the husband! 😅

Because it was so expensive to book, it was empty most of the time. We spend many hours there taking photos.
