Idk about you guys, but sometimes I feel i need to hold my face in a certain way (unaware of it sometimes/a habit), so it doesn't look too relaxed
the whole "resting bitch face" idea kind of annoys me because, relaxing your face should be a good thing!
I don't think it's necessary to try to hold your face a certain way so you don't look too ___ (mad, bored, etc)
I think that's a weird idea. Relaxing your face muscles feels good! And it's like, people poke fun at others if their face looks too this or too that when relaxed. I think especially perhaps women, are made to feel we must look interested, responsive, engaged, etc.
I personally am just working on relaxing my face, and thinking that it looks OK, ENOUGH, as it is!
Easier to do when you're just working at a computer, but if I am taking photos of myself or having a conversation, letting my face relax, and just trying that out, is something I'm working on.
So idk if you're like me and you think your face needs to be turned "on" when listening or taking pics of yourself, or even talking on the phone, maybe just see what you can relax a little bit. Why use more face muscles than necessary, right?

so it's technically still a selfie even if you aren't holding the phone, right?
