Another thing i might want to get this year for my desk setup is a second monitor. I currently just use 1 and i think i don't know what i'm missing. I think it would be especially helpful for organizing and posting content.
I make a lot of stuff so to keep track of it all and make sure i'm not re-posting, and that all that I want to share gets shared takes some organization.
So anyway not to bore you with the details but I think a second monitor would be helpful when organizing and posting content here, so I add that to my potential shopping list..

Hey ya'll honestly I was laid out the past few days. I think i overdid it a bit with work and filming and just was totally exhausted. (lol insert pictures from a different day, me currently is greasy hair beyond belief in my bathrobe haha)
But gave me an excuse to do a lot of resting these past few days. Still not feeling 100% but better
one thing it's made me consider is i need a better desk setup. Currently too tired to be working standing, and I have a DIY standing desk setup right now.
I use a big dining table and then some shoe boxes (lol) and a wood plank to raise my keyboard and mouse for standing, and a monitor riser.
However If i want to sit down, i don't have an office chair, and then even with the keyboard on the table it's a bit too high which isn't great for the wrists arms etc.
So i'd really like to work on making my desk more comfortable, and flexible so I can sit and stand with more comfort and ease. I think this means a computer chair and foot rest might help some
The dining table desk has a big lip around the edge which is annoying because I can't clamp stuff onto it like mic stand, monitor stand or a keyboard tray. Keyboard tray would be key i think in getting that item to the right height
So some shopping priority in the next month or few months for me i think should be a computer chair + footrest, see if that helps. And probably a new desk at some point, maybe a height adjustable one with plain edges so I could attach stuff to it if needed.
I think having a comfortable and ergonomic work setup is super important. If you're going to be spending so much time in a certain spot, you want to reduce risk of injury, repetitive strain injury or discomfort.
I'm glad that there are more products on the market now for ergonomic work setups. But even then it can be challenging to find the right stuff + fit your budget. But i think having a decent work setup is an investment in your health... trying to motivate myself here haha because it took me awhile to put this DIY desk setup together, and it's been going strong, but there's room for improvement.

It's a little weird photographing or filming my actual yoga type practice. But i'd like to try to blend more of what I really enjoy doing / do every day, with making content.
If i'm going to do it anyway, there must be a way to catch some photos or videos as I do. Even if many of the photos are blurry or whatever, there will be a few treasures.
it's just working on that... mindset.. to make content during a fun relaxing activity, and keep the fun spark. not make it too.. work-y, you know?
My content making sessions can be pretty intense, when that is the sole focus. I want to lighten the load a bit, mentally/physically/emotionally for making content, and part of that is lowering expectations. Taking breaks. Experimenting. Being open to and okay with mistakes or flubbed images.
I just love yoga so much and many of the poses are visually lovely, so why not share. Worth experimenting with ππ
