Looking at a black and white photograph, you are already looking at a strange world.” – Joel Sternfeld And my world is very strange...and magical 😉😅 We had lots of picnics and beers on this little bridge. Nobody ever came here so it was absolutely awesome to sit here in the forest and just relax and chat for hours. Then the bridge we had to drive over to reach this one collapsed, and we couldn't visit for many, yes many, years. When we got there again, it was in a very bad state. Planks were missing and it was rotting. My heart was broken. We even discussed fixing it ourselves. Unfortunately criminals has taken over this part of the park! Memory Lane (episode 6) The first photo here is the first photo we took in the bush. After my husband had the bright idea to start taking photos outside, this was the first place we visited. The photos is of very bad quality in all aspects, and I do apologize for that. Here is the story: Our first full fledged outing to take photos outside, was taken at a dam close to where we lived. We were fairly clueless about what to. When we eventually figured out what to do, we were clueless about how to do it! I didn’t know how to pose or even smile! The photographer didn’t know how to use the scenery or the sun! It was a joke and a laugh a minute, but it was also a beginning! Today I had to struggle to get one decent photo to post! Just one!!! My face was sweaty because it was in the middle of summer. Because we didn’t think things through, we didn’t have any extra make-up! On all my photos I have this bright and shinny face. I look like I’ve ran a marathon! But it was awesome. I loved the sun, the clean air and the beauty of nature! Our first outing was awesome! On our first day in the bush, most of the photos was close-up photos! The 3 wide photos of the day was completely crap! I’ve asked my husband why he only took close-up photos and he can’t even remember why. He was so fixated on the top half of my body. But I think I know why… IT WAS THE BOOBS!!! IN THE BUSH FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Have a great day everyone!

🐎 Horseshoe Falls 🐴 This waterfall is Horseshoe Falls close to Sabie. It takes a small walk over rocks and climbing rocks to reach the fall. In most of the photos you can only see one of the "horseshoe" sides. It is only in photo 12 that both of the falls are visible. Memory Lane Episode 5 After the sad and tearful episode of last week, I will try and steer clear of that this week! Let’s be happy, smiling and laughing today! To continue the legend of Nonnie… So we took a break of 1 year and 8 months from taking photos. When we started again, it was the same type of photos. Only in the house and we even started using the garden a lot. But then something happened that took the hobby in an completely new direction…🥁 We were at an open air event one night on Boxing day, enjoying the sights and sounds. I was wearing a black see-through blouse with a black bra underneath. It was a very daring outfit for me to wear in public. I’m very shy as you all know 😉😅. Why I decided to wear that, on that day, I can’t remember. My husband snapped a pic of me, and then the penny dropped. He looked at the photo on the camera, looked at me and then he got this weird grin on his face… He showed me the photo on the camera and told me his idea. “Let’s take some naughtier pictures here”. I didn’t want to do it I have to admit. I was very scared of being caught, but it was dark, I would keep my sweater as ‘cover’ and we would keep a good lookout. I took my bra of in the bathrooms, we looked for a safe place and the hobby jumped to a whole new level. That night was the catalyst of a hobby that grew beyond all expectations. We started doing day trips, going for walks in parks, we started doing weekend trips and then we started camping. All the time looking for the best spots to take photos. We started exploring and during that exploration discovered some of the most beautiful places ever. We started to live… I'm sorry about the quality of the photos. It was at night with a Canon PowerShot A75 camera. It had a whopping 3MP censor and 3x optical zoom! The only topless photos is where we slipped down to the beach for a photo!! 🎶 Waterfall Symphony 🎻 I love waterfalls, small or big! I can listen to it’s music all day long! Watching it cleanse the mind and soothes the soul. It just makes me gushing with joy and roaring with excitement! 😅. This is a waterfall on Sani’s Pass. The water were freezing my feet off! It is very cold water out of the mountains. We were on our way to the “highest pub in Africa”, which is actually located in another country, Lesotho! We always stop there for lunch and a beer. The Right Path This was on one of our favorite passes, the Prince Alfred's Pass. It was also on this day that the car broke down on the pass. Not a big problem, we got it fixed and had an awesome drive! Sometimes the right path is usually the most scary and lonely one, but move on, you will never regret walking it. Never let others choose your path for you... the path most populated doesn't make it right, the path less traveled doesn't make it wrong.
