“Cry yourself a river, build a bridge and get over it” On National Get Over It Day, people are encouraged to self-reflect and move on! Our local version is: Put brick on one side. Put brick on the other side. Put a plank between them. AND GET OVER IT! 😂 Ironically it started to rain during this photoshoot. So the clouds were crying! 😂 You can see the raindrops on the water behind me! But of course once we are in the mood for photos, and it is in a nice spot, we will continue! 😜 It's stupid, but part of the fun. 😁

This is at the post office of New England. No, not the one in Britain, the one in South Africa. When we first discovered this ruin, there was a red hanger still hanging on the wall. This hanger has survived the fire that destroyed the building. Because of our rule of never disturbing or taking anything from a site, we left the hanger there. We returned many years later and the hanger was gone. To this day I always think that I should have taken the hanger as a memento. But on the other hand, I would have felt so guilty. O well, what done is done. Good night everyone!

😁 Happy Monday 😁 Happy Monday. 😁 Have an amazing week. Be happy with what you have... There are people with less than you that still manage to smile. This was in a nature reserve we've only been to twice. It has a 4x4 route that is supposed to take 3 hours. But of course, for us it takes 6 to 7 hours! No, my husband is not the worst 4x4'er there ever was, it's because we stop often for beer, for food, for photos or just to relax and enjoy nature!

Sunday lunch with Nonnie. I just love pizza. And of course having a beer with the pizza is just so much better. Pizza and beer, a winning combination. We often have pizza nights, where we just buy the bases and each person gets to make his or hers own pizza. It is sometimes amazing the nice pizzas we can create. We made a pizza we call Nonnies' pizza. I will share the recipe next Sunday. It was amazing! I hope you all enjoyed the weekend!

Even though I sit here smiling, I had a very narrow escape this day. Below my bum is a steep and deep ravine. To sit on this branch, I had to support myself on another branch, leaning over the ravine. The branch I was holding on broke...!!! When the branch broke, it was the first and only time ever I've heard my husband scream like a little girl. He thought I was going to fall into the ravine! I thought so too actually, but caught my balance just in time! Being the trooper I am, I sat down and continued with the photoshoot.

🦌 Posing with a Nyala! 🦌 We were having lunch is a part of a nature reserve that is very infrequently visited. We often had meals here because I could sit here topless without any fear of being caught. While having lunch, a few y0ung Nyalas came to visit us. They were very friendly and one inspected my breasts with curiosity! We did get a few nice photos here. The other photos was also taken on this day in various parts of the park. Enjoy 🧡🧡

💙 Love and Happiness 💙 If we spread love and happiness as quickly as we spread hate and negativity... ...there will be no Blue Mondays ever!!!! This is a resort on our way back from Sabie. It is on the road between Lydenburg and Belfast (no, not the one in Ireland). We always have lunch here and then walk to the waterfall here to have a photoshoot. The waterfall is sometimes strong and sometime just a trickle. This day it was just a small amount of water falling down.

Don't 'Ruin' Saturday 😂 This was a ruin we discovered on a cold morning on Route 62. We started Route 62 from the east and it took 3 days to drive the whole route. It's my dream to drive Route 66 in the USA. Well, that will probably never happen, so we drove Route 62 in South Africa instead. I mean, it is only 4 routes over and one ocean in between! Random Photos for Friday The Magoebaskloof forest in the background. This is along a road that is called the “Forest Road”. It is a fantastic drive through the forest. Although it is only meant for 4x4’s, we once drove it with a 7 seater sedan...with 7 people in it! The car did scrape it’s underside a few times, spun a bit in mud, but we made it through! I’m sitting here on an upside down bucket. We use to drive the bucked with us so I have something to sit on if nothing is available! Good times!

Random Photos for Friday This is a forest in Louis Trichardt. In this forest I’ve seen some of the biggest trees ever! We’ve only been to this area twice now, but I think it is time for another visit! That morning we woke up to a dead car. My husband has left the ignition on and the battery ran flat during the night. We did have jumper cables, but the camp site was empty. We could only find another vehicle at the chalets. We waited and waited and waited and eventually a head peaked out of the door. And the @rsehole wasn’t even keen to help. My husband had to beg him! But he did help in the end!

Random Photos for Friday We planned this photo down to the very last detail. Over the years of taking photos, we kept track of how many photos we’ve taken of me. This was one of those mayor milestones of our hobby... It was the 300 000th photo of me. We chose the place, we chose the outfit and we chose the location. And to this day I love this photo! One of my top 10! We are now on our way to 450 000 and our goal is 500 000 photos! 😲

Random Photos for Friday (small boobies) For those people that has been following me for a while now, know that I am very shy. So in the beginning, when we started taking photos of me, I refused to go topless. I kept my shirt or blouse on, and only took my boobies our for photos. I was ashamed of my chubby body! But as time passed, my confidence in myself grew. But then one day, while we were taking photos on top of Paarl Mountain the Cape, I just took my shirt off and threw it at my husband! You should have seen his face! He nearly dropped the camera! This is one of those very first topless photos!

Random Photos for Friday A cold and windy day on the top of Lesotho. We crossed into the border of Lesotho from the Fouriesburg side, drove all the way across Lesotho and exited on the Sani’s Pass side. Halfway through the day we discovered that the border post closes at 6pm! 😲 We had to rush to make it to the border in time, which we did by a very narrow margin. By then it was dark, and we had to drive down the pass in darkness. It sure was a frightening and stressful time! We camped that night on a cattle farm and the tent nearly got blown away!! With us in it!! We were so late arriving at the site, my husband thought it was not necessary to peg the tent to the ground. “It is such a lovely night. There is not a breeze blowing. It will be fine” he said. He swallowed those words when a thunderstorm arrived in the early morning hours! 😜

Random Photos for Friday I love the sun on my skin. But I also know that the harsh African sun in not something to be taken lightly. Therefore I do use a lot of sunscreen when we are out and about taking photos. And the worst thing is that sunscreen is so expensive! “We don’t want people to get cancer, so please use our sunscreen to protect yourself. And by the way, we are going to make it so expensive that nobody can afford it” Yeah sure!
